XTnano is the new 4-channel HD/SD slow motion replay server from EVS. Designed for live sports productions requiring simple workflows, XTnano with its Nano controller is the perfect toolbox for essential high-speed operations with maximum reliability. The system offers full GigE Ethernet capabilities for file transfer to other servers as well to post-production tools.

LSM-XS Server is the latest multi-format server solution with peerless recording and ingestion of multiple A/V feeds and playout control. XS is available in 2 to 4 flexible channel configurations in SD or HD.

IPDirector : this is a software used to control the XT[2] server offering several features as metadata management, rough cut editing, playlist management…

XFile: significantly decrease "loading" time for the EVS systems during pre-production, improve portability of pre-recorded production elements and event melts, and provide an archive base of Hi Def or Std Def melts.

Clean Edit Suite: It features highly efficient editing during ingest of live feeds with transition effects using animated graphics. The finished edits can be played locally with no delay or rendered and placed onto an XT-server for playout, optionally under control of the video switcher.

INSIO is an application engineered for multi-camera studio productions. It is an easy-to-use, easy-to-learn tool, specifically designed for the needs of producers working in a studio environment.

ABOUT EVS:

EVS is the leader in live outside broadcast digital video production systems. Its products are intelligent recorders combined with highly reactive applications, such as the slow motion system, that has now become a standard worldwide. The XT3 production platform, associated with dedicated applications such as the famous LSM, enables the creation, editing and exchange of video files.

EVS Broadcast Equipment S.A. was founded in February 1994 by Laurent Minguet, Pierre L’Hoest and Michel Counson. The founders of EVS aimed to develop equipment for the digital recording of pictures on hard disks (disk recorders) for professional broadcasters within the television industry.

EVS initially stood for "Ecriture Video Simulation", offering a product aimed at architects with video/graphics tools. Current international salesmen may explain it as "Extreme Video Systems". EVS acquired in 2010 the MXF specialist OpenCube Technologies company.

The programming of the television networks consists primarily of broadcasting prerecorded images which, until very recently, were stored on tapes. But linear editing (or editing on tape) is being replaced by digital media or non-linear editing. Today, digital technology on hard disk (non-linear, by definition) is the common alternative. There has been clear confirmation of a migration towards this technology for some years, even though it will still take another 5 to 6 years or so for the hard disk penetration rate to increase from 30% to 70%. Television stations began migrating to tapeless interoperable computer platforms beginning in the late 1990s. Video recorders are rarely used nowadays for live productions. EVS type digital media servers are the norm in Broadcasting.
